Went to rest with the lord, February 12, 2010 at her home with family and friends by her side. Wanda was born August 30, 1962 in South Haven, the Daughter of Ray and Patricia Gullion. Wanda had been a strong survivor for many years of cancer. Before becoming ill, Wanda was employed as a security officer at Palisades Nuclear Plant. Wanda loved putting together puzzles, had a passion for riding horses, lounging in the sun by the pool, laying in her tanning bed at home and most of all, Wanda's favorite thing to do was being a Grandmother. Wanda was a very hard working woman who always put her children and her family before herself. She was always concerned with other peoples needs before her own. She was a wonderful mother to her two surviving sons. She was a very caring, loving, nurturing woman who would give you the shirt off her back, she was a one of a kind who will be missed dearly. Surviving are her love, Fiancé Lawrence Burns whom she spent many years with; two sons, David and Aaron Saffell; her mother and stepfather Pat (Bill) Brown; two sisters, Sharon Gullion and Rhonda Wright; three brothers, Jack (Sue) Goff, Duane Johnson, Shannon Gullion; an aunt, Sherri (Junior); an uncle Ricky; her grandparents, Richard (Betty) Clark; A stepdaughter; Amber (Josh) Evans; grandchildren; Kassidy and Aubrie Evans, Mallony Rose Saffell; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Wanda was preceded in death by her father Ray, a brother Ray "Scott" and her grandmother Doshia Gullion.
