Ingeborg Casemier, age 81, of Bangor, passed away, Monday, February 15, 2010 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo.
The family will meet friends 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Friday, at the Bangor Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home where the funeral service will be Saturday 11:00 AM with Pastor Larry Hendershot officiating. Mrs. Casemier was born July 12, 1928, in Ludwigshafen, Germany and was a war bride who moved to Bangor in 1948 with her first husband Stewart Davis, who passed away in 1987. She then married Earl Dormer, who preceded her in death, next she married John Casemier who also preceded her in death. Mrs. Casemier was a member of the Lawrence Bible Church, and the Michigan Blueberry Growers Association, she enjoyed painting and loved gardening flowers.
Surviving are 2 children, Margot (Russel) Sanford of Bangor, Mark (Rebecca) Davis of Kalamazoo; ex-daughter-in-law, Linda Davis of Portage; 5 grandchildren, Benjamin Stewart Davis, Joseph John Davis, Elizabeth Rebecca Davis, Stewart Sanford, Domanic Jeremiah Davis; sister Marylouise Richert of France; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
