Margigene May Henry

Marigene Henry With deep love, the family of Marigene May (Wilkinson) Henry would like to share that she went to be with our Lord on November 17, 2025. Marigene was born April 4, 1936, in Allegan, Michigan and is the daughter of Cyril ("Ted') Wilkinson and Minnie Wilkinson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin L. Henry, and her brother, Carl Wilkinson. She leaves her children, Ron (Pat) Henry, Karen Magyar, and Marva Kelly, along with her grandchildren, Mike (Mandy) Henry, Sarah Henry, Matt (Jessica) Henry, Emily Magyar, Rachel Kelly, Jessica Magyar, and Lauren Kelly, and her great-grandchildren, Zoe Henry, Simon Henry, River Cooper, Elle Henry, and Jack Henry. She also leaves behind her loving niece, Joyce Wilkinson, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends. Marigene grew up on a farm in Cheshire, Michigan, and graduated from Bloomingdale High School where she met her husband, Marvin. They were married on July 10, 1954, and were married for 63 years. They worked together to build a loving home and several successful businesses, including H&W Meat Packers, Kalvan Realty, Back on the Farm Antiques, and two mobile home parks in Bonita Springs, Florida. Bonita became their home-away-from- home, where they spent many winters enjoying boating, entertaining family and friends, playing cards, and watching sunsets. Marigene converted to Catholicism as an adult and was a devout Christian and prayer warrior for her family and friends. She was a very generous person with a welcoming smile, sharp wit, great sense of humor, and passion for life. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend to many. She loved to travel with Marv and many family and friends, visiting every State in America and many foreign countries. We will truly miss you, Marigene. God has you in his keeping and we have you in our hearts. The Henry Family welcomes friends and family for visitation on Saturday, November 29 from 4 to 6 p.m. at DL Miller Funeral Home in Bloomingdale, Michigan. There will be a Celebration of Marigene's Life there on Sunday, November 30 at 11:00 a.m. with a memorial dinner immediately following.
