Allen John Picchiottino

Allen J. Picchiottino Age 95 Of Grand Junction, MI Passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 at South Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. Allen was born November 27, 1926 in Almond, WI, the son of Joseph and Rosa (Lutz) Picchiottino and has lived in the Grand Junction area the majority of his life. Allen served in the US Army as a Military Policeman during WWII. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Bangor, and served the church in many ways. He was known as “Uncle Al” to his many nieces and nephews, and was loved by his family. He was always puttering around his garage, where he could fix anything. Surviving are his daughter, Hannah (Lee) Knouse of Watertown, WI; 2 granddaughters, Tamara (Cory) Turck, Taylor Knouse; great grandson, Carter Turck; sister, Gloria Picchiottino of Grand Junction; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Paul, Wilfred, David Picchiottino; and sisters, RoseMary Werk, Goldie Picchiottino. The family will meet friends from 10-11AM, Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, where the funeral service will be at 11:00 AM with Rev. Matthew Reis officiating. Interment will follow in Breedsville Cemetery, Columbia Township. Arrangements entrusted to the Bangor Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
