Bobby Joe Conley

August 29, 1931 - February 20, 2022

Passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Ascension Borgess Allegan. Bobby was born August 29, 1931 in Kentucky, son of the late Willie and Shirley Conley and had lived in the area since 1960. Bobby honorably served his county as a member of the US Air Force from 1952-1956. After his military service Bobby went to school and studied electronics. In 1975 he and his wife Margaret opened Conley's TV in Allegan. After closing the store in 1992 Bobby went to work for Finnerman's in Centerville where he worked on irrigation pivots until his retirement. Bobby loved farming and especially enjoyed trips to the casino. He loved eating out and working in his home shop. Bobby was one of the founding members of the Allegan County Snowmobile Club. More than anything though, Bobby enjoyed spending time with his family. Surviving are his 2 sons, Brad (Sarah) Conley and Jeff Conley, both of Allegan; 2 grandchildren, Sean and Elizabeth; a great grandson Miles; a sister, Helen (Charlie) Setter; sisters-in-law, Wanda Conley, Hazel Bandick, Beverly Commons and Bonnie Ambrose; brother-in-law, Steve Wright. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; siblings, Billie (Paul) Jensen, Anna Wright, Jim Conley, and Nancy (Tom) Locatis. The family will meet friends on Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 1 PM until time of funeral services at 2 PM at the Bloomingdale Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home, www.dlmillerfuneralhome.com. Interment will follow in Lindsley Cemetery.
