Candace "Candy" Leedy

Candace "Candy" Dolbee Leedy of Paw Paw, MI, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2021 at Rose Arbor in Kalamazoo. Candy was born September 2, 1951 in Kalamazoo and grew up in the Kendall / Gobles area. She was a member of the Gobles High School graduating class of 1969. In 1969 Candy married her high school sweetheart, Robert "Bob" Leedy. Candy enjoyed traveling, crafts, crocheting and walking outdoors. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandson. She was also an avid reader. Candy retired from the Paw Paw Bronson Medical Center. She leaves behind her husband Bob of 52 years and 2 grandchildren, Kylie Leedy and Ryan Leedy as well as a great grandson, Colten Bailey. Also surviving are two sisters, Connie Crawford Edwards and Sharilyn McFadden Voorhees and a brother and sister. Mrs. Leedy was preceded in death by her parents, Inez Bonnell and Charles Dolbee as well as two brothers. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either Hospice of Western Michigan or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to the Bloomingdale Chapel, D. L.
