Jean J. Richardson age 73 Of Kalamazoo Passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. Jeanne was born August 24, 1948 in South Haven the daughter of Milton and Dorothy (Anderson) Welder. She grew up on a farm in Breedsville and loved animals. She graduated from Ferris State University with a degree in Pharmacy in 1974 and moved to Kalamazoo to work at Borgess Hospital and later transitioned to working in retail pharmacy. She loved visiting South Haven, especially Clementines and Sherman’s Dairy. She shared her love for animals with her children who were very involved in 4-H. She was a beloved grandmother. Surviving are her 2 children, Jenny (Ryan) Lackman of Grandville, Andrew Richardson of Denver, CO; 2 grandchildren, Declan, Rowan; brother, Harold (Gloria) Welder of Paw Paw; and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Thomas Brennan; and brother, George Welder. The family will meet friends Monday, April 11, from 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00 PM at the Bangor Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home, www.dlmillerfuneralhome.com. Interment will follow in Monks Cemetery, Geneva Township.
