Larry L. Barber

April 11, 1942 - October 30, 2019

Passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. Larry was born April 11, 1942 in Allegan, the son of the late Max and Marjorie Barber and had lived in the area his entire life. Larry loved duck hunting and fishing and even carved several of his own lures and decoys. He was an avid Michigan Football fan as well as Gobles athletics. He loved watching all of his children and grandchildren's sporting events. Surviving is his wife of 57 years Ginny; 2 children, Jeff (Susan) and Greg (Tori); grandchildren, Nikki (Nate) Story, Michael (Kim) Saylor, Kimberly Barber, Amanda Barber, Erica Barber; 3 great grandchildren, Brock, Peyton and Charlette; 2 sisters Michal Wiseley and Jan Leonard; a brother Mark Barber; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will meet friends on Sunday from 3 - 6 PM at the Gobles Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home, www.dlmillerfuneralhome.com where funeral services will take place on Monday, 11 AM, with Pastor Larry French officiating. Interment will follow in Robinson Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the American Parkinson's Disease Association or the American Heart Association.
