Lawrence H. Irwin Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Lawrence H. Irwin, age 62, of Bloomingdale, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Ascension Borgess Hospital, Kalamazoo. Larry was born May 7, 1959 in Kalamazoo, son of the late Howard and Hattie Irwin and had lived the past 33 years in Bloomingdale. Larry honorably served his country as a member of the US Marine Corps. He loved spending time hunting and fishing and was passionate about his chosen career as a truck driver. Larry was a long-time member of the Bloomingdale Christian Church. More than anything though, Larry cherished time spent with his kids and grandkids and especially loved rough housing the moment they walked through the door. Surviving Is his wife of 33 years, Linde; 2 children, Paula (Adam) Blesch and Darrick (Erica) Irwin; grandchildren, Lorelai, Leslie, Camden, Callie and 2 boys on the way soon; sister, Sherry Hoyt; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a half-brother, Bruce Irwin. Following his wishes cremation has taken place. The family will meet friends on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the Bloomingdale Christian Church from 10:00 AM until time of Memorial Service at 11:30 AM, Pastor Brett Champion officiating. Inurnment will take place in the Spring in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Bloomingdale Christian Fellowship.
