Marvin McCrory 12/2/1946 - 3/2/2022 Gobles Passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at his home. Marvin was born December 2, 1946 in Kalamazoo, son of the late Harry and Olga McCrory and had lived in the area for the last 45 years. Marvin honorably served his country as a member of the US Army, serving from 1965-1971. He had been a long-time member of the Gobles Pine Grove Fire Department and loved spending time on the water fishing. In his later years Marvin cherished time spent cruising in his electric blue Chevy Camaro. Surviving are his children, Erin (Pete) Owen, Mary McCrory and Sarah McCrory; grandchildren, Devin and Tyler Owen; a sister, Karen (Dayle) Hadden; father-in-law, Delano Rose; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Gary (Kathy) Rose, Tamera Rose, Betty Rose, Sandra (Tim) Peters, Ron (Diann) Rose; numerous nieces, nephews and a great niece. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol; his parents, mother-in-law, Geraldine Rose; brother-in-law, Hank Rose; nephew, Delano Lance Rose The family will meet friends on Tuesday, March 8th from noon until time of funeral services at 1PM at the Gobles Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home, www.dlmillerfuneralhome.com. Interment will follow in Robinson Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Disabled American Veterans, Holland, MI.
