Mary Lee F. Knapp-Harrington Age 85 Of Grand Junction Passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Park Place Assisted Living, in Kalamazoo. Mary Lee was born Feb. 27, 1936 in Grand Junction, the daughter of William and Florence (Lee) Fris, and has lived the majority of her life in the Breedsville, Grand Junction area. She was an active member of the Bangor Church of Christ. She enjoyed painting, piano playing, garage sales, wood carving, and her animals. Surviving are her son, Ronald E. (Mabel) Knapp Jr. of TN, 7 daughters, Sally A. Knapp-Goss of Bangor, Christine A. (Glenn) Riddle-Thomas of Grand Junction, Rebecca A. Knapp of Kalamazoo, Priscilla A. Knapp of South Haven, Rachel A. Zellmer of Bloomingdale, Ruth A. (Jamie) Skuca of South Haven, Elizabeth A. (Daniel) Andre of Grand Junction; 24 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, JoAnn Fris, Betty Jean Kruzinga; a special niece, Kimberly Kemp; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her 2 husbands, Ronald E. Knapp Sr., George Harrington; 2 children, William and Sarah Knapp; and 2 grandchildren, Joshua Garcia and Joseph Riddle. The family will meet friends from 5-6 PM Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Bangor Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home where the memorial service will be at 6:00 PM with Pastor Duane Jones officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to Pace Senior Care Partners or to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
