Robert W. Lockman Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Robert W. Lockman Age 77 Of Baroda Went home to be with the Lord, Monday, May 23, 2022 at Spectrum Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph, surrounded by his family. Bob was born December 5, 1944 in Benton Harbor, the son of Adolf and Lydia (Ruff) Lockman and has lived all of his adult life in the Baroda area. Bob "Butch" was a member of Grace Lutheran Church his entire life and he worked for D & F Mold for many years. He enjoyed going to the track watching their horses race. He was able to repair anything and in retirement repaired lawn mowers. Bob loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Merry whom he married Sept. 18th, 1965; 2 children, Beth (Ryan) Smith of Stevensville, Bryan (Lauren) Lockman of Lake Wylie, SC; 2 grandchildren, Karen & Kyle Smith; sister, Dorothy (Glenn) Conrad of St. Joseph; 2 brothers, Richard (Carol) Lockman of Benton Harbor, Rodger (Lynn) Lockman of St. Joseph; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will meet friends from 4-6 PM Friday, May 27, 2022 at Grace Lutheran Church, 404 E. Glenlord Rd; St. Joseph, MI 49085 where there will be a memorial service at 6:00 PM with Pastor Joshua Bishop officiating. He will be buried in Hinman Cemetery, Baroda Township. Arrangements entrusted to the Bangor Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials be made to Grace Lutheran Church.
